Good day,
Just a query – if my stock buying transaction is more than PhP 20k will the BPI bank daily limit of PhP 20k applies ?
Thank you for any guidance on the matter
Hi Walter,
You need to use the BPI Trade not your BPI savings account for buying stocks. It is a two different thing. In BPI Trade, there’s no limit on the money that you will use.
My account is not active anymore… How can I reactivate? Thanks!
Hi Camille,
If your account is not active anymore, you cannot activate it again. But you can apply a new account anytime you want.
My bank is BPI(dollar account) and I was denied withdrawing 6000 Yen in Japan ATM which equivalent to 74.8560 USD when converted(Nov. 7 ‘12). Is this allowable or it is less than the minimum withdrawal amount? (minimum in peso if you’re in the PH of course is 500). Or the reason was, it is over the business hours already because I did it at 8:30pm(Japan time/7:30 in PH)? Is the BPI atm international transaction not 24/7?.. Thank you very much in advance.
Hi Josel,
I’m not sure about the dollar account. Perhaps there’s a minimum limit for withdrawal that’s why it’s not successful.
i have a account in BPI,i dont know if it is still open,as far as i know my last transaction was march 2011
do my account still active or not? how many months thus an account will be deactivated if its not used?tnx…
alyannah recently posted..My Best Financial Advice that I can Give
Hi Alyannah,
If your account has zero balance or below maintaining balance, perhaps it is not active anymore because most banks will take a certain amount each month if your account falls below maintaining balance.

Hi there,
According to BP info. for ATM account, daily withdrawal limit is P20k for regular account and P50k for maxi accounts.
How many months before BPI account deactivated? How can I know if my account already closed? I can still open my account in BPIexpressonline.com, is it deactivated or not? please reply, thanks
Hi Vlad,
If you can still open your bpi express online, your bank account is still active.

Hi Mads,
Yup it will be automatically close when it is below the maintaining balance or zero balance for a long time.
Hi. Just want to know how much is the maximum allowed amount to be withdrawn per ATM transaction nowadays?? I remember being able to withdraw P20T at one time when I was in the Phils. but does that depend where the ATM is located?
Hope to hear some answers soon.
Best regards!
Hi Jeg,
Max. ATM withdrawal per day is P20,000 for regular/ATM accounts.
It applies for all ATM in the Phils.

for sure it is already deactivated since the maintaining balance for BPI is 2000 pesos. the remaining money you have in your account is already forfeited. Its just my thought, you can go to the nearest BPI bank for more information.
