Make money online became more popular in recent years as many people find ways to earn more aside from their current jobs. Many websites in the internet are offering methods on how to make money online but most of them are scams.
It is very important to distinguish the genuine from scams since most of the time you are required to pay for something. In reality, there’s really money involve if you really want to make money online.
One thing I’ve learned on how to tell if the site is genuine or scam is whenever the site is to good to be true. You know lots of sites are offering instant return on investments with big interest rates for example 30% in one month. They are called high yield investment (HYIP) programs.
There are really many legitimate and genuine ways on how to make money online. Here are some ways you can do to make money online:
1. Online Stock Trading
If you are good in stock trading and you have a substantial amount of money in your stock account, you can do this every trading day. You can make money from your profit each day you trade stocks.
This method of making money online is very risky since you don’t know what will happen to the market unless you are really an experienced stock trader. So a bit of caution here for newbie in stock trading.
2. Create a Website or Blog
Making and developing a website or blog is a good way to make money online. It seems hard to make a website just what I think before, but I tell you it is not really hard. Making a blog is not the hardest part in blogging but it is getting visitors. There are FREE ways to make a blog using Blogger or WordPress.
When you monetize your blog using Adsense and other affiliate sites, that’s the time you can make money online. If you are interested to make your own blog, just click here.
The first important thing in creating a blog or website is that it should be your interest and your knowledgeable about it. You must choose your “niche”. For example, this blog of mine is one of my interest and the niche of this blog is finance and investment.

3. Selling Stuffs in Ebay or Sulit
If you have products and services to sell, you don’t have to worry where to sell it. You can use eBay or Sulit in selling your products or services.
Its very easy to create an account in eBay or Sulit, you only need an e-mail address and a bit of patience. The important thing in selling in eBay or Sulit is that you will sell only quality products so customers will return to you and be satisfied.
4. Domain Name Selling or Flipping
Buying and selling of domains needs skills on how to choose a good domain name that will be a high value in the future. We know that the domain name distinguishes a website from the other. It is the domain name that makes it popular and profitable. Domain name like Google, Facebook, Yahoo and YouTube will stay forever.
5. Affiliate Marketing
Even you don’t have a product to sell, you can still sell products online by affiliate marketing. Some of the famous affiliate marketing sites in the Internet are ClickBank, Amazon and Commission Junction where you will sell electronic products such as e-books.
This year I will start my affiliate marketing venture by promoting Amazon products. Actually, I already bought my dedicated website for Amazon affiliate but right I have limited time to add quality contents to the site since I have other blogs and I’m working with my day job.
I’ll keep you posted when I finally setup the site so that you can see it. In the future, I’ll make a post about this new online venture so that you will know that it is truly possible to make money online even you are in the Philippines or anywhere you are in the world.
6. Freelancing
If you’re an expert or professional in your field, you can offer a freelancing, advice or counseling using the Internet. Some common freelancing jobs in the web are writing an article, financial advising, making a website or blog and many more.
Some of the outsourcing sites that I’m using pay a good amount for freelancers. You can visit the following site if you want a freelancing job in article writing, computer programming, website design, HTML, Java, and other computer-related skills.
Making money online is not hard but also not easy. It requires patience and know-how on what ways are suitable for your goals. There are different ways to make money online listed above such as stock day trading, blogging or building websites, selling products in Ebay, domain selling, affiliate marketing and freelancing jobs.

I was into blogging before and managed to get some pretty decent earnings from Adsense every month. And then my account got banned and was never reinstated. Now I’m into online freelancing. The bidding system in most freelance sites, however, frustrates me. Charge too much and you won’t get hired. Charge too little and you’ll get burned out quickly.
