How to Apply for BPI Credit Card
Applying a credit card is simple and easy if you have all the requirements required by BPI bank. Some of the basic requirements in applying are listed below.
1. The customer should be at least 21 years old with a basic salary of P20,000 if he or she wants to apply for BPI Express Credit Classic, BPI Blue MasterCard, BPI SkyMiles MasterCard, Petron-BPI MasterCard, BPI Edge MasterCard and P50,000 for BPI Gold MasterCard.
2. If the applicant wants to have supplementary cards, the credit card holder must be at least 13 years old and must be his or her spouse, parents, children, children-in-law, parents-in-law, siblings and siblings-in-law.
3. The applicant should have a residence or business land line telephone number.
4. The applicant should pass to BPI the completely filled out application forms. You can get the application forms for credit card here.
Requirements for BPI Credit Card Application
Send or bring the following requirements when applying for a BPI credit card. Make sure to provide the following requirements when going to the bank for application.
1. Proof of Identification

2. Proof of Income
In order to validate your proof of income, you should bring at least one of the following documents. It will serve as a proof to the bank that you have a source of income and you are capable of paying any credit card debt that you will owe in them.
For Employed applicant:
- Certificate of Employment or Contract of Employment (for Overseas Filipino Workers)
- Latest payslips
- Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) with BIR or bank stamp
For Self-employed applicant:
Latest Audited Financial Statements (AFS) with BIR or bank stamp AND latest Income Tax Return (ITR) with BIR or bank stamp
Applying a BPI credit card is easy and simple once you have the complete requirements and you know the procedures of application. Just take note and remember to bring the requirements listed above so you won’t forget to bring it when you go to the bank.

I don’t have any information on how a foreigner can apply for BPI credit card. Yeah, it is quite hard to apply for a credit card in the Phil. Even me, I cannot apply for one because of many requirements the banks are asking for.
Thank you so much to eastwest bank.i received my credit card without submitting any requirements. I don’t know why. ang nagyari lang kasi nito one day may tumawag from eastwest bank daw siya nag verify regarding sa application ko. nag taka ako di naman ako nag apply.. after 1 week tumawag ulit bank representative daw. She told me follow up ko lang daw sa customer service nila regarding sa status ng application ko. binigay namn niya ang reference number kung saan yun ang gagamitin ko to follow up. so what i did was tawag ako ng tawag sa operator. last call ko sa bank was January 13, 2012. then, I received my card was last January 17, 2012.. i’m enjoying now my eastwest card.

I apply BPI credit card Last JULY 19 2011 and until now the card is not yet arrived delivered August 11 2011.. Did you know what courier uses to deliver with BPI credit card? And they promise to deliver that for 7 days and i think i am waiting for the card for almost 3 weeks… And the BPI is not responding about my concern and i am really disappointed with their services… i hope they will work out with this concern….

I know credit card should be delivered using registered mail and you must sign a document telling the credit card company that you received the card. Just call BPI to follow up your application.
do you have a type of credit card that needs no payment for annual fee?

I think you just ask BPI if they can waived the annual fee so you will not pay for it.

ask ko lng kung pwede me mag apply khit alottee lng ang tinatanggap me..wla me work pero nsa abroad aswa me..tumatanggap me ng 20,000up alotment..
I think now for the bpi credit card , BPI require 25k or more per month for self employed and you also need to provide your last three years ITR to show your finances are in order. But even if you are not self employed, the minimum salary is now on their website as 20k.
