It has been more than 2 years since I started blogging. I begun designing this blog from the free WordPress theme available in the Internet. Actually, there are many free themes that you can download and use it in your blog. Some are great looking and some are not. However, I have decided several months ago to purchase my own theme from Thesis.
I consider this blog as a personal blog and at the same time an online business. It is the reason I need to invest some amount of money to make it better in terms of design and functionality.
Currently, I need to pay for this blog’s web hosting since this a self-hosted blog, not a free one. I have also bought a new logo design for this site that you can see right below.
Basically, the logo is self-explanatory. As you can see, there’s a piggy bank picture that symbolizes saving money and financial literacy with the blog’s name “Learn Financial Education” and the tag line “The Smart Way to Manage Money.”
I have decided to change the name of this blog from “Financial Management Blog” to “Learn Financial Education” to make the blog’s name similar with the URL (http://learnfinancialeducation.com/). I hope you are not confused about the name, it is the still the same blog as before and I’m still the owner of this blog.
For the past 2 years, I’m using the 3-column theme but now, I’ll more comfortable with the 2-column layout. It is more simple and has a better reading view. I also like the new theme color green which I think good for the eyes of the readers. What do you think?
I would like also to take this opportunity to announce that I’m looking for a writer for this blog. If you are interested in writing to this blog and earn money, please contact me to discuss the details.
If you have any questions about blogging, send me an email and I will reply to your questions as soon as possible. You can also find some of my articles about blogging if you will visit this page.
That’s all. I hope you’ll have a great weekend. For all those who are in Korea and spending their holiday, Happy Chuseok (Chuseok Jal Bonesipsiyo!).
