Floods are everywhere. When I was a child, I hate and love flood. I hate it because I cannot move comfortably inside our house because of the water. On the other hand, I like flood because there’s no school and we can have many fish in our meal table.
However, like man other things, flood is changing over the time. One area may not experience flood before but now, it is one on the list of flooded areas being announced in TV.
I believe flood brings more harm than good as what we can see in TV and news papers. It destroys all of your appliances and household items after submerging to the water. The worst thing will be death and destruction of houses swept by flood.
There are many victims of flood in the past flooding in our country. If you are looking for ways on how to help these victims, I have listed the organizations and foundations where you can send your donations.
You can visit their website for more information and the facts you want to know. Most of these foundations accept cash donations through bank deposits, food and clothing donations, and many more. Let us help and save lives of our fellow kababayans!
In addition, I believe in the power of prayer because I have experienced it myself. If we really don’t have anything to give, you can say a prayer for the victims of flood so that God will make a way for them. You can also be a volunteer for these organizations as one way to help the victims of flooding.
