Happy Labor Day to All the Workers around the globe!. We commemorate this day as a holiday to celebrate the dedication and hard work of all our employees and workers.
In my previous post, I discussed the value of hard work and what are the things that you can get if you work hard. Now, I would like you to watch a video why hard work is very important to be successful in life.
I, myself, has been working for more than 9 years. I’m glad and blessed that I have job, that’s why, I want to do my best to improve and harnessed all of my skills to excel in it.
Hard work is very important for all employees as well as for businessmen. Without it, how can a business or country survive. It cannot be unless hard work was put in every job and task we’re doing.
I would like you to introduce to a great presentation by Richard St. John, the author of best selling of “The 8 Traits Successful People Have in Common: 8 To Be Great”. He made this presentation in TED Ed talks.
If you don’t know what is TED, you can find more about it here. Actually, the video below is the second trait successful people have in common. I hope you’ll like this short but very inspiring video.
I haven’t posted the other traits but I’m planning to post here in the future so stay tuned! My takes about it are listed below:
1. Working hard is a key ingredient to be successful. All people who achieved success made it there because they work hard at the beginning and until they became successful. There’s no short cut or overnight success in them.
2. I see many students in college that were very smart but some of them didn’t graduated. I’m wondering why? Perhaps they became over confident and stop working hard to study their lessons resulting to failing exams.
3. I’m not smart guy also but I work hard and as much as possible, finish all my tasks at the soonest time possible. I’m not saying I’m successful now but hopefully will be there soon.
4. I’m surprised that the second richest person in the world, Bill Gates, works long hours in a day and spend very short vacation! Because you know, my thinking is that “billionaires” don’t work hard much because they already have it all.
How about you, what are your takes or thoughts on this video? Are you a hard working person?
