Maybe you have already know that this blog does not only tackle about financial matters. This site also serve as my personal blog. I also write topics related to my family, our travel, our faith, my work, business, investments and many more.

There are many things happened during our stay here in Korea for the past almost 7 years. We’ve been in many places around Korea and many people and friends we have met. Some of those friends are not already here, they went back to Philippines, some are still abroad or returned to their home country.

Gideon and Faith, April 2013

I resigned from my former company, DSME, and now employed in a new one, SHI, but both are located in the same city of Geoje. Our new apartment is located very close to the company I’m working right now. I just bike going to work and also coming home.

It’s a somewhat different experience compared from our previous place. Where we are living now are close to supermarkets, clinics, Gohyeon bus terminal, near the main roads and restaurants.

Unlike before in our previous apartment where we are living, our new apartment is better in terms of livability is concerned. The one thing I missed in our old place is the quietness during sleeping time.

But the biggest change our family encountered in the last few years of our stay in Korea is when our second child was born here. Faith, my daughter, was born in South Korea in April 9, 2013.

It’s a little bit difficult situation during that time because we didn’t get any help from our parents because they are in the Philippines. Also, in that time, I have resigned from my job in DSME.

Faith is loving and pretty girl. She’s more independent than her brother Gideon. Sometimes, when she wants to eat something, we’re surprised that she already opened the biscuit bag by her own.

She learn new things easily but sometimes become short-tempered. I think it is normal for her age. She’s loving and loves to eat!

Her birthday is coming next week so I would like to make a short blog post for her. Happy Birthday baby! I hope you will be healthy, wealthy, pretty and strong as you grow up. Daddy, Mommy and kuya Gideon loves you very much!

Psalm 90:12 (NIV)

Teach us to number our days,
that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
