How to Get a BDO Rewards Card

BDO Rewards Card is a card issued by BDO bank which gives perks and privileges to all cardholders when they use make BDO banking transactions and during shopping at all SM Department Store, SM Hypermarket, SM Supermarket, SM retail establishments and other BDO Rewards Partners.

Types of BDO Rewards Card

There are four (4) kinds of BDO Rewards Card you can get depending on the number of points you can accumulate. Each card represents your membership level. Below are the four types of BDO Rewards Card:

1. Emerald Rewards Card - If you accumulated 1,999 points and below.

2. Ruby Rewards Card - 2,000 to 3,999 points

3. Sapphire Rewards Card - 4,000 to 5,999 points

4. Diamond Rewards Card - 6,000 points and above

How to Get BDO Reward Card

To get a BDO Reward card, you must have a Peso CASA Account with at least P50,000 MTD ADB or Dollar SA Account with at least USD1,000 MTD ADB or a principal cardholder of a BDO credit card.

Once you satisfied the above requirements, you can visit any BDO branch to apply for BDO Reward card. If your application was approved, you will receive the new BDO Rewards Cards which will be placed inside the Welcome Kit and would be delivered via courier for the Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire level.

BDO Rewards Card for Diamond members will be delivered personally by the branch head where your BDO account is located.

How to Earn Points

There are two ways to earn points for using your BDO Rewards Card: you can earn SM shopping points for approved bank transactions at BDO or earn points when buying from SM and other Rewards Partners. Keep in mind that one point is equal to P1.00.

Redeeming Points

In order to redeem points from your BDO Reward card, you can use it to pay for purchases you made at any SM Department Store, SM Hypermarket , SM Supermarket and SM retail establishments such as SM Appliance Center, Toy Kingdom, Watsons, Surplus Shop, Makro, Ace Hardware and more.

Members are allowed to redeem a minimum of 50 points per transaction. There is no fee when redeeming points.

Other Information

If your Rewards card have been damaged or lost, you can call BDO Rewards Call Center at (02)702-7888 or 1-800-10-702-7888 (Domestic Toll Free) or text BDO LOST<space> PIN number and send to 2966.

The replacement fee will be P150 or 150 points for Emerald and Ruby card owners while the replacement fee for Sapphire and Diamond card holders is waived. Payment can be done through any BDO branch or by calling BDO Rewards Call center.

Got my Bdo reward card last april 2,2012, while I was once a depositer last year when I followed up about my Bdo reward card they told me that It was lost so,I requested for the replacement now its my second card but,I wonder why my points was not enough as I verify it it was only 415 in fact that my deposit account was almost a million how come and I wonder why my points is so low and I was shock about it…In fact as I’ve read it Sapphire card requires 3000 points at least,I was really disappointed about this for my brother experienced the same way too…Please do make some explanation about this…thank you!

got emerald as my first card, with no expiration date, then downgraded to emerald in my 2nd card with mar2011 expiration… just wondering why and how is that…emerald card means i accumulated 2000+ points and have not use it… up to now i can”t check my accumulated points because of the expired card i have.. keep asking my branch when do i get my new one? well, according to them, it will be send by the main office thru mail… now december2011, many months passed after march2011. Just want to ask where is now my reward points? and how can i use it with expired card? hmmm..

Just go directly to your BDO branch or to the branch where you get your Rewards card to tell your situation.
