One of the missions of this blog is to teach people specifically my avid readers to effectively manage their money. Without financial planning and management, no one can take good care of his or her finances.

One source of knowledge and wisdom about money and finance can be found in the Bible. There’s only one condition so that it will have a good effect in you: you should obey its advices and examples.

Most of the Filipinos are Christians, Catholics and other religions who use Bible as the basis of their faith. However, only few percentages are reading it and even a smaller number is obeying or taking it into action the teachings they learned.

I firmly believe that we have the Bible today not only teach us spiritual doctrines but it also gives us practical lessons that we can use in our present time. It is an all-around book where you can learn about life, God, money, relationships and all the things under the sun.

To give you some explanations why I post articles related to Bible teachings about financial matters, here are some of my reasons that I can give to you:

1. There are many Bible teachings related to money and finance
If you read the whole book of Proverbs, you will notice there are many lessons you can find about money, debt and finance. In addition, if look also at the other books of the Bible, you can see numerous verses related to finance.

2. This blog is not only about financial management and education
Though I started this blog for sharing my experiences in learning financial education, it is not only my goal. Through this blog, I want to impart to all readers and visitors that how you handle your money is much related on how you stand on your faith, how you take care of your relationships and a lot more.

3. There is eternal wealth hidden in the Bible
All of our possessions on this world including our money or wealth will someday be gone. It is only temporary, it will not last forever. There is a kind of wealth that will be permanent and will endure in eternity. The Bible says in Matthew 6:20,
“But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.”

4. To give you advice based not only on my knowledge
My knowledge is limited and sometimes not accurate, however, if you learn what the Bible is teaching about a certain financial issue, you will know the best advice you can carry out.

Finally, read your Bible every day so you can find wisdom and wealth in it. If you don’t have a Bible of your own, you can find one in the Internet.
