WordPress - Definitely, the best and most powerful blogging platform available today. Majority of the blogger use WordPress for their blogs. It is easy to install and setup, simple to learn, very user-friendly, plenty of plug-ins that will help you design and enhance the overall appearance of your blog.
Blogspot - You can make a free blog here but your domain has a blogspot.com in the name. This is a good start for people who don’t want to pay for domain name registration and web hosting.
Domain Registration
NameCheap - My number one domain registration company on my list. I’vee been using Namecheap for almost a year now and I could say they have the cheapest fee for registering a domain name. Many blogger out there also use this company for buying their domain.
GoDaddy - Before I switched to NameCheap, I am using GoDaddy for domains that I want to register. I have not encountered any problem with them in the past. The account panel is not hard to learn and it is very easy to navigate so you will not lost as you log in to your account.
Web Hosting
JustHost - One of the best and cheapest web hosting companies available in the Internet today. All of my blogs run in JustHost web hosting. I personally recommend this company because of their excellent customer service and cheaper hosting fee compared with other hosting companies.
I have encountered several problems in the past about my account in them but it is easily solved thanks to quick response from their customer agent. In addition, the JustHost cPanel is very easy to use, even if you are a newbie, you can learn quickly how to manipulate and navigate your control panel.
SEO Tools
Google Keyword Tool - I used this tool for my keyword research so I will know which word to be used or not in my articles that I made. Keywords are very important in on-site page optimization. It is free and you don’t need to spend a cent, that’s a good thing about it.
Web Analytics
Google Analytics - The best analytics tool from Google and it’s free to use. If you have a GMail account, you can freely access this one but you have to register your blog before you can see the details about your visitors.
SiteMeter - I used also this product along with Google Analytics. I only registered for the Basic version to avoid paying for an upgrade because I think I only need to know where is my traffic coming from and which page is the most visited.
Online Payment
PayPal - Without a doubt, PayPal is the number 1 online payment service. It has been in the industry for many years. It is very safe to use, accepted by many online sellers and companies around the world, simple registration and smaller fees.
BPI Express Online - My family uses this online banking service from BPI to pay our Meralco bills, add funds to our CitisecOnline stock account, to fund our automatic savings account and many more.
BPI Express Cash/ Express Money Order - You can use this card to send money within the Philippines for Free. I’ve been using BPI EC/EMO card since 2004 when I started working in my first company. Since I have a BPI payroll account, I was able to automatically link my payroll account to EC/EMO card of my mother.
When I want to give them some money, I will just log in to my BPI Express Online account and transfer the money from my account to their card. It is very easy to do and they can get the money after transfer has been completed.
