I have been posting my stocks dividend income each year to have a record of the dividends I received from the previous year. Dividend from stock investments is purely passive income in nature because it is given freely by the company as long as you hold the stock for a certain period of time.

Majority of stocks in the Philippine stock market pay dividends to its investors yearly. For example, PLDT, the telecom giant in the country, pays more that P100 per share of dividend every year.

You can check below pictures for my dividend income for 2016.

In total, the dividend income I received in 2016, is P1,930.59 which is lower than the dividend I received in 2015. How much did you receive from dividends in 2016? Can you share it?

Hi Gilybert,

This is a great blog post idea! Since I also invest some of my extra money in the Philippine Stock Market, I think I should imitate what you did here and write an entry.

Congrats to your cash dividends! 🙂

Thanks Jethro! You should make your own blog to record your experience.
